Hi,

I'm August.

I believe freedom & solace dwell deep within creativity & art-

I am a lover of music (live & otherwise) an awkward introvert, a hopeful romantic, an obsessive, a night owl, an optimistic pessimist, & friend to the strange, & the weird. I kneel at the altar of the patron saint of outcasts. 

I strive to capture the shadow moments -the sh!t in-between. Humans, with all of their flaws, fascinate me, & I strive to channel that fascination & curiosity into photographs that you can use to reference who you were & inspire you to become who you hoped to be.

All of this is to say- I give a fuck.

I'm a vicarious collector & preserver of experiences, as in youth I could never amass enough of my own. Your captured image nourishes me- it is my photosynthesis. I'm honored to be part of our procreative process. 

Each session adds to my growth & development, upcycling me from the photographer that I used to be. I'm a woman who has consistently loved taking photographs of the people & spaces she encountered since her teens. Currently, a photographer seeking unconventional spirits and fellow rebellious hearts to create with.
